The opening of the facility, the construction of which was implemented on the initiative and support of the Council of Businesswomen of the Atyrau region Chamber of Entrepreneurs, is timed to the Family Day.
More than 50 children and teenagers aged from 4 to 18 years live in the regional family-type children's village and youth home today. The management of the organization implements 6 projects aimed at attracting children to feasible work activities. Among them, breeding rabbits and chickens, a workshop for girls "Bakyt", a beauty salon, a carpentry workshop and now a greenhouse.
«We have been breeding rabbits for 10 years. This year, with the help of the Board of Trustees, we have chickens, now we have 6 laying hens and 18 medium-sized chickens. Since 2014, we have a workshop for girls, now we want to expand it and buy professional sewing machines. There is a beauty salon where children learn hairdressing and manicure. The next step is the implementation of a carpentry workshop, we need to buy equipment there, and we will open it. Now, thanks to the Council of Businesswomen of the Atyrau Region Chamber of Entrepreneurs, we have our own seasonal greenhouse. We will be able to grow vegetables here twice a year. All these projects are very important for us, because through them children are introduced to work. Thanks to the greenhouse, they will be able to plant and grow vegetables and herbs on their own. I would like to express my gratitude to all the members of the Council for their good work», - the director of the regional children's village of family type and youth home Gulsara Botatayeva noted.
The initiative to build a greenhouse was announced by the Council on Children's Day as part of the Year of Children in Kazakhstan. And now, three months later, the greenhouse opened its doors to the children of the orphanage. The project amounted to about 2 million tenge. In addition to the members of the Council, sponsors also joined the construction of the greenhouse.
«It is not by chance that we have raised the initiative to build a greenhouse. Since this is a village, there should be livestock and its own vegetable garden. They already have rabbits and chickens, they needed a greenhouse. We, as entrepreneurs, hope that the children who grew up in this village will be hardworking and will contribute to the country's economy in the future, as they will be accustomed to work, working on the land and doing business from an early age. I would like to express my special gratitude to the Councils of businesswomen of Zhylyoy, Inder and Makhambet districts, Amangeldy LLP and Ermek Individual Enterpreneur, who took an active part in the implementation of this project», - the chairman of the Council of Businesswomen of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Atyrau region Gulzhan Mukhatayeva stressed.
Today, the construction of a summer water pipeline is underway in the village. The members of the Council also assist in the implementation of this project.
